How To Participate in the Two Contests

Our very special event on June 9 will see the launch of the Dr. Dog Programme and the official opening of the Furry Friends Farm. Two contests will be held as part of the event. Please scroll down to read how to participate in the contests and Dr. Dog Programme:


Theme: My Favourite Furry Kid

Date & Time: June 9, 2007, 8:00 am registration and 9:00 to 10:00 am

Venue: Central Park, Bandar Utama, Kuala Lumpur (opposite 1 Utama Shopping Centre)

Registration Fee: RM3.00 per entry. Please pay at the counter on the same day.

Eligibility: Children aged between 9 to 12 years old
Objective: To motivate children to observe a dog's natural behaviour, different expressions and body language in an open field and capture best moment of a dog in their drawings within one hour.

Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult and are required to bring along their own pencils, erasers, sharpener, crayons, etc.

However art paper and art boards will be provided


Theme: Spring and Summer Collections For Furry Kids, 2007

Registration Fee: FREE

Judging Time: Dog Fashion Show from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Judging Venue: Central Park, Bandar Utama, Kuala Lumpur

Eligibility: Malaysians aged 17 and above

Objective: To encourage talented fashion designers to create attractive t-shirts with the best slogans to support and speak up for dogs that have been badly treated.


1. All entries are required to be on A3 size art paper
2. Post your designs to : No.156, Jalan Jambu Melaka, Jinjang Selatan, 52000 Kuala Lumpur.
3. Write down clearly your full name, new I.C. number, age, mailing address and telephone number at the top, lefthand corner of the art paper containing your design.
4. Slogan on the t-shirt should not be more than 20 words.
5. Restricted to one entry per person.

Deadline: All entries must be received by May 25, 2007.

Judging: 10 semi finalists will be shortlisted to meet 10 dogs stray/abandoned dogs rescued by Furry Friends Farm to meet their models (the dogs) for their t-shirts to check measurements and size. Then the semi-finalists will have get the t-shirts sewn and ready for the dogs to wear on June 9, 2007 at Central Park. These dogs which will be available for adoption on June 9 will be wearing the t-shirts and the judges will select the first, second and third prize winners on June 9.

    are the public allowed to bring their dogs to the event eventhough they are not participanting??

    i wish to bring my mongrel over to the field to have some fun...

    We encourage more people to take their mongrels out to show that they are just as beautiful and loveable as pedigrees.
