Lantern Books Festival Winners 2006

Lantern Books are publishers committed to producing literature to create awareness about the proper and ethical treatment of animals.

They held an essay writing contest and I think everyone should read the winning entries. Kao Kalia Yang a Hmong who has settled down in the US won the first prize with her story 'To The Men In My Family Who Love Chickens'.
